The digital storytelling project about the Rakhandar legend has been an incredible journey of discovery and creativity.  It's been a fascinating process, diving into the rich tapestry of Goan folklore and bringing the story to life in a new, digital format. It's been a journey that's taken me from the bustling streets of Navelim to the serene landscapes of the interior, meeting with locals and hearing their stories firsthand. From the very beginning, I was captivated by the idea of the Rakhandar, these protective spirits who guard the boundaries of the village.  I felt a strong connection to the story, perhaps because I'm from Goa myself, and I understand the deep-rooted importance of these traditions.  I wanted to honor the stories that have been passed down through generations, while also adding my own unique perspective. It was not just any village protector project; it felt special to me because it connected me to the stories I heard while growing up. Our mission was to create a captivating storytelling video that would showcase the bravery and selflessness of this unsung hero.
